Welcome to Goulburn Valley Volleyball Association! 

We are based in Shepparton at the Shepparton Sports Stadium. 

We currently offer weekly training/match play on Fridays 6.30pm-8.30pm and match play/competition Sundays from 6.30 to 8.30pm, as well as a program during school terms for youth aged 12-15 years and beginners from 5pm-6.30pm Sundays. 

A Training membership is needed to join our sessions which you can find under Become a Member on this website and if you'd like to join the Sunday night GVVL competition, the Recreation membership covers it all. Memberships are valid until 31 March 2027, and cover player insurance as well as supporting the great work that Volleyball Victoria does. 

We also offer the opportunity to play in tournaments including GVVA representative teams at the annual Victorian Country Championships and Junior Country Championships, pending eligibility and selection.

We were incredibly excited to host our first tournament in March 2025, Shepp Revival,our inaugural tournament to bring competitive volleyball back to the region. 2025 was played across three courts at two stadiums and in 2026 we doubled it, using all six courts at both Shepparton Sports Stadium and Visy Community Centre. Our Sunday night competition, GVVL, returns 6.30pm-8.30pm 19 April to 31 May 2026, noting all players will need a Recreation membership.

Whether you're a volleyball veteran or fairly new to the sport, GVVA is for everyone.
